If you ever find yourself in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, I insist you make Flora Farms part of your experience. And yes, it is an EXPERIENCE. The farm is literally an oasis in the baja desert of ranch and farm land, bursting with life. There is something wonderful to do here no matter what time of day you stop in. During the day, farm tours are available to tour the grounds. Everything served at Flora Farms Restaurant is either raised or grown on the property, or sourced from local businesses. Definitely get the arugula pizza, it’s worth the calories… and the vanilla flan! OMG. “When in Mexico…” am I right? You can even take cooking classes specializing in locale fare. Of course there’s a farmers market for all your take-home-produce needs…of course! There is also a spa on premise, as well as a handful of eclectic high end shops. At night, the farm turns into an expansive patio dining experience. It is literal heaven on earth to sip your hand crafted cocktail under the twinkling lights and listen to the amazing live band. And if your visit falls on a Saturday evening, be sure to request a custom poem from Dawn X Spectre aka “The Amazing Alba.” Cant miss her on her typewriter! Like I said… Flora Farms is an experience unto itself. Click ::here:: to check out their website and plan your visit, and be inspired by the photos of my trip below!
